Analytical models are mathematical models aimed at some simplification and abstractions of real systems in order to provide some insights, and to understand some interested aspect of the reality. However, modelling the reality by abstraction should be connected with real problems, domains, and practice by means of verification and or validation. These types of models are applied mostly to the static and/or deterministic systems.
