Minimisation Example
We have reached the optimum solution since all values are positive or zero.
The optimum solution is to use 2 units (or 10 kg) of A and 14 units (or 140 kg) of B. This combination leads to a cost of $116, which is the Ieast cost combination of raw material consistent with the constraints. The end product weighs 150 kg. This model can be solved by graphic analysis, with a more complicated version of the problem with more that 2 variables, we would have to use the computer software to obtain an optimum solution.
